History3-engSoon the band had reassembled having recruted new singer Chris T. Ebert and armed with unbroken motivation they hit stages again (supporting NAZARETH, URIAH HEEP, GIRSCHOOL u.a.) before they pulled all strings to finally have a new album out. What was to happen in 1992. This time around ex U8-man Peter Wehrhan and Peter W. Kevin took responsibility for producing and recording. The band entered Kick-Sound Studio in Salzburg and didn´t leave untill the probably most versitle album of SPEED LIMIT – „Perfect Inspiration“ - was ready to being released.Astonishingly the interest in SPEED LIMIT hadn´t lost it´s strenght after four years (since „The Prophecy“). Again TV-appearances, radiointerviews, airplay and intense live-aktivity (Germany, Austria, Italy) followed the album release. It didnt take long until the line up -„merry go round“ started turning again. This time it was the drummer´s seat that was passed to ex U8-drummer Kurt Rumpf after Andy Rethmaier had left. But it wasn´t for long until Fred Forester (BOGGIE STUFF) came on board. In the meantime SPEED LIMIT had finished a highly successfull „unplugged“-tour, which had been recorded (again an album that rests in the archives). But as the 90ies weren´t the hightime for heavy metal, there was no wonder that it got quiter for SPEED LIMIT, the not long before called „loudest band of Salzburg“. November 1994 saw the last concert of SPEED LIMIT in a then new Rockhouse Salzburg.
